Hope

Psalm 27:1-6
OUR CONFIDENCE IN THE LORD PROVIDES HOPE (vs. 1-3)Confidence In The Person Of The Lord –
Light (vs. 1)- God delivers His people from Darkness –
Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Jn. 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Jn. 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Jn. 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Psa. 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Jn. 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Jn. 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
Love (vs. 1) Salvation-
Rom. 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1Jn. 4:8-9 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
Jn. 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Life (vs. 1) Strength or Quality of Life HE Gives
Jn. 10:10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly
2Cor. 12:9 My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Rom. 8:37-39 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Confidence In The Performance Of The Lord –
